Statement: This goes to all the players as well as to Mojang;
I was really excited about the new MC-Version. Then I was a bit disappointed and angry when I had to realize that all stats and achievements get lost. I hoped, that we get a fix for this soon, especially because I've seen the MC-519-Bugreport on Mojira.
Unfortunately, I had to experience another, far greater disappointment which make me really sad; A message from a Mojang-Team-Member who apparently decided to pay not much attention to this problem, because Stats just numbers and we could general play without them. He's right. BUT: Achievements (aside of stats) are an actual game element and we like it. Also, Notch like them too (as he once stated at tumblr) and I can't understand why he (or anyone) insert a Feature like this and than stop supporting it in this way.
However, now I understand it a way better why some people have an aversion to Achievements in this case. I hope that this problem (the Achievements/Stats, not people with aversions) will eventually be fixed one day... Thank you.
